Today we celebrated the 100th day of school!
After our morning assembly and calendar, students enjoyed a carpet lesson and activity / game with dice and colours to mark each day of school.  We then tallied our results and made inferences about our data sorted and collected.  Students then compared and contrast their own findings with those of their classmates’.
We completed another chapter of our read aloud as well.
The kindergarten and grades 7/8 students paid us a visit.  The kindergarten students did their annual parade through our class with their 100 items and the grades 7/8s performed a song they wrote to mark 100 days.
After lunch, students participated in drama and gym with Mr. Hunt.

Following last recess, students worked on phonics and spelling activities with their weekly list words.
